Governance

The Tampa Bay Library Consortium is administered by an executive director and is governed by the 13-member TBLC Board of Directors. The board of directors is composed of elected representatives from member libraries. The entire membership of the consortium participates in governance at the annual TBLC Membership Meeting held in November. Bylaws revised and adopted in 1996 guide the consortium.

Board of Directors

The TBLC Board of Directors is composed of 13 representatives from member libraries. Directors serve on the board for a term of three years. Elections to the board of directors are made annually at the TBLC Annual Membership Meeting held in November. All terms begin in January.

The executive board, made up of president, vice-president/president elect, treasurer, secretary and immediate past-president, oversee the activities of the board.

The board is composed of representatives from the TBLC membership as follows: two representing academic libraries, two representing public libraries, two representing special/school libraries, two at-large, and one representing SUNLINE.

Board of directors meetings are held bimonthly at TBLC headquarters.
