In order for OCLC selective and full user libraries to participate in
interlibrary loan of journal articles, they must add specific holdings
information for their periodical titles to the OCLC Union List of Serials.
Full user libraries may contribute this information to OCLC themselves.
TBLC adds this information for selective users. Once a year libraries
are asked to send any changes in their periodical holdings to TBLC.
This information is entered into the OCLC Union List of Serials and can
then be displayed during the interlibrary loan process. The Union List
is also accessible via FirstSearch.
