Language Bank
The TBLC Language Bank is a list of multi-lingual professional and
paraprofessional library staff throughout the TBLC service area designed
to aid TBLC libraries when they need access to people fluent in
languages other than English.
A library that is unable to adequately address a significant cataloging,
service or reference question involving a language other than English,
using its own resources, can turn to the list to locate a staffer at
another library for assistance.
Each person on this list is willing to be of assistance with language
expertise to other libraries in the region.They are willing to accept
occasional telephone calls or emailed requests for assistance.
