Many libraries have begun to digitize their collections. Valuable
resources are now accessible online, and people can explore local
and national historical resources at many sites. We have included a
selection of links to TBLC and Florida area projects, as well as some
projects in other states.

Florida Digitization Projects

• Central Florida Memory - a collaborative project of the
  University of Central Florida Library, the Orange County
  Regional History Center, and the Orange County Library
  System
• Florida Memory - provides enhanced public access to
  the collections of the Florida State Archives in Tallahassee
• Lakeland Public Library - provides materials which
  document Lakeland's history
• Manatee County Public Library Historic Photograph
  Collection
• PALMM Collection - Publication of Archival, Library and
  Museum Materials (PALMM) is a cooperative initiative of
  the public universities of Florida to provide digital access
  to important source materials for research and scholarship
• Tampa Hillsborough Public Library - Burgert Brothers
  Photographic Archives - presents a unique pictorial record
  of the commercial, residential and social growth of Tampa
  Bay and Florida's West coast from the late 1800s to the
  early 1960s
• Sarasota County History in Photographs - draws from the
  photographic collections of Crowley Museum and Nature
  Center, Historic Spanish Point, Sarasota County Historical
  Resources, and the Venice Archives and Area Historical
  Collection
• University of South Florida
