Spring is in the air

While the spring season in Florida may not mean the same drastic change in weather as in other states, it still symbolizes a time of growth and change in the library world. Our executive director, Charlie Parker, ended his year as president of the Florida Library Association with a bang at last week's successful FLA Annual Conference in St. Petersburg. Here at TBLC, we're already planning November's annual meeting, which will include an exciting keynote speaker. Our marketing program continues to grow as our member libraries have started to take advantage of our promotion and design services. Our members are seeing change as well, as libraries are forming or growing foundation groups to be prepared for future budget crises.
