TBLC member libraries can take advantage of discounted purchase of some library supplies. TBLC has negotiated discounts for members on products purchased from library suppliers Demco and Bowker. We also offer discounted pricing on library barcodes from Computype.

Barcodes

Order your library's 14-digit patron and item barcodes through TBLC and receive volume discounts. Cost is $36 per thousand for doubles, $25.50 for singles. There is a $55 setup fee per order. To order, send a purchase order to TBLC. On the purchase order indicate:

• Quantity
• Format (double or single)
• Type (item or patron)
• Your library's 4-digit institution code
• Library name
• Beginning sequence number

Send the purchase order to Vickie Frost at TBLC via mail or fax. Minimum order is 5,000 barcodes. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. If you have any questions regarding barcode orders contact Vickie Frost

Brodart

TBLC member libraries are eligible for discounts on purchase of supplies from Brodart.

Discounts are:

• 15% on all prices in the current Brodart Supplies & Furnishings Catalog, excluding Security Systems/Accessories, ImageMouse, ScanPro and Indura Book Copier, Books & Automation.
• Free shipping on all Supply orders; $25 minimum order required.

Demco

TBLC member libraries are eligible for discounts on purchase of supplies from Demco.

Discounts are:

• 15% on library office and computer supplies
• 5% on library promotional and educational supplies
• 7% on furniture and equipment

Gaylord

TBLC member libraries are eligible for discounts on products ordered from Gaylord.

Discounts are:

• 10% off furniture
• 20% off supplies with free shipping
