Library TV Promotional Spots
TBLC has produced three 30 second spots promoting
- Ask a Librarian, Florida’s collaborative virtual reference program;
- iBorrow, a user based interlibrary loan program; and
- library electronic services generally.
Our purpose is to provide these to libraries to help them promote services in their communities. They can be used on local cable or tv channels, local government or district cable channels or closed circuit systems, or from library websites.
Libraries are encouraged to download the spots and can use them under a Creative Commons deed for local promotion at no cost.
The ads are covered under a Creative Commons deed allowing use if
- Attribution is provided at your website;
- use is Noncommercial; and
- No Derivative works are permitted.
We grant an exception to the No Derivative stipulation and allow libraries to alter the works by including their logos, names, and/or URLs to support promotion of local library services.
We ask that libraries using the spots for local promotion informally report back to us on how they are used, the exposure received, and the benefit or impact enjoyed by the library.
Thanks!
