Program: The Hillsborough County community-wide reading project "One Community, One Book" featuring Nilo Cruz's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Anna in the Tropics, set in Tampa's Ybor City in 1929. Presenters will be Roberta Whipple and Patrice Koerper.

Cost: About $6.00.  The exact amount will be announced later.
Directions: From the North:
  • Go south on Dale Mabry (past Kennedy) to Henderson
    Angle right on Henderson and follow Henderson to Manhattan
  • Left on Manhattan to the library (just S. of intersection with Euclid)
  • Library will be on the left -- with plenty of good parking.

From the South:

  • Go north on I-275 through St. Petersburg
  • Exit I-275 at Gandy Blvd. and turn toward Tampa (East)
  • Follow Gandy, across Gandy Bridge
  • Turn left on S. Manhattan (at Gandy Shopping Center)
  • Library will be on the right -- with plenty of good parking.

From Pinellas County:

  • Via the Howard Frankland Bridge: Exit I-275 at Dale Mabry (Southward)
  • See "From the North" (above)
  • Via the Gandy Bridge: See "From the South" (above)
