Living With Terrorism, presented by Steve Collins PurlFebruary 12, 2003, the St. Petersburg Times published the following article: "Residents unfazed by terrorism alert - National security officials tell the public to be prepared. But in the bay area, peoples' lives seem unchanged." NOW is the time for change. Heighten your awareness. Sharpen your senses. April's SIS program Living with Terrorism, presented by Steve Collins Purl of AAA Investigations and Protective Services, provides current information about the threat of terrorism from both a local and global perspective. Purl also presents strategies to strengthen homeland security and to enhance your own personal safety. Steve Collins Purl served as an officer of Scotland Yard's British Police Force for more than 20 years. For four of those years, he led a SO19 Rapid Response Firearms Unit. Purl is the author of Good Guys Wear Black: Real-life Heroes of the Police's Rapid-response Firearms Unit and The Glory Boys: True-life Adventures of Scotland Yard's SWAT, the Last Line of Defense in the War Against International Crime. After Living with Terrorism, Steve Collins Purl and Arik Lindsay, also of AAA Investigations, will be available to answer your questions. |
