The City of Seminole    City department links . 

Code of Ordinances of the City of Seminole. Adopted on September 8, 1998. Paper copies are available at the library.  

Pinellas County Goverment Home Page.   The County government's home page includes an alphabetical list of topics, the web sites of the major county departments and officers (the Board of Commissioners, the Sheriff's Department, the Property Appraiser's Office, etc.), a history of  Pinellas County, and links to county services and departments.Click here to search the Pinellas County Property Appraiser's  database  

Pinellas County Parks Department. Here you'll find information about the Pinellas Trail, take a virtual tour of the park system and find out details about all the parks. 

Pinellas County Board of Commissioners.  Besides offering access to the full range of country government agencies and services the Board of Commissioner also features online access to the county hurricane evacuation database (enter your address and you will be told which evacuation zone you are in) and current job openings with with the county.

Representing yourself (Pro Se) In Family Law Cases. Site provided by the Pinellas/Pasco County Courts to assist those representing themselves in family law proceedings.  Includes locally approved legal forms.  

Pinellas County Law Library 

Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pinellas County. Gives basic information on such issues as child support, diviorce, domestic violence, landlord and tenant actions, probate, guardianship, marriage, small claims and legal aid. 

Pinellas County Cooperative Extension Service.   The County Extension Service site provides information about their services and programs and has current issues of its "Timely Topics Newsletters" which contain a wealth of information on such topics as dealing termite infestations and debt collection. 

Pinellas County Department of Economic Development.  Source of current demographic and marketing information for Pinellas County. Mission to improve business climate "by acting as a liaison between public and private sectors while facilitating the availability of a qualified workforce. The mission is accomplished through the initiatives of five sections in the Department: Business Assistance, Business Communication & Marketing, International Business Development, Business Recruitment, and Business Research.." 

Worknet Pinellas.  "A one-stop information resource for employers, job seekers and agencies in Pinellas County." Provides information about education and training sources,  links to local, state and national job listings, on the job training resources, job posting, business incentives and government contracts. 

Pinellas County Art Council. Agency of the county goverment  the site's major feature is a comprehensive directory of cultural organizations in the Tampa Bay area.  Also includes information about art grants and links to other cultural sources. 
 

 
Educational Institutions
The Pinellas County School System. 

Pinellas County Public Library Cooperative  Sets forth the goals and policies of the Cooperative and lists its members (includes links to library home pages). 

Literacy Services in Pinellas County.  A directory of literacy providers, support agencies and advocates, including public and private organizations. Each entry includes a description of services, contact information and location. 

Pinellas Talking Book Library. "The PTBL is part of a nationwide network of cooperating libraries serving people who have difficulty using or reading regular print. Books and magazines in audio formats and braille, plus compatible playback equipment from the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS), Library of Congress, are loaned free of charge. All materials are sent to clients and returned to the library via postage-free mail. The PTBL collection has thousands of recreational reading titles to choose from in fiction and non-fiction, pre-school to adult." 

Pinellas Technical Education Center.   Information about technical education programs offered by Pinellas County Schools. 

Heritage Village. Pinellas County's  historical museum. Includes a map and directions, hours, a "virtual " tour including many fine color photographs of the buildings,  a catalog of the Heritage Village Library (a rich resource for local history research), links to its two off site facilities, the Gulf Beaches Historical Museum and the Judge Hartley House. Also included is information about the Pinellas County Historical Society.

Community Services
Helpline.The indispensable resource for identifying and locating service agencies in Pinellas County; agencies can be searched by program, by name, or by keyword. Helpline deals with such areas such as domestic violence, emergency food and shelter, drug and alcohol abuse, victim assistance,  pregnancy, parenting, elder care and health. 

FROG--Florida Resource and Opportunity Guide. A database of local organizations created and maintained by the Clearwater Public Library. FROG contains over 1000 entries and is updated frequently.  This link provides several access points to FROG. A paper copy is also available in the Seminole Library's reference collection (REF 362.09759  FLORIDA) 

Goodwill Industries. Information about their services, employment opportunities, information about donations and store locations. 

Upper Pinellas Association for Retarded Citizens (UPARC). Directory of  services and programs, information about legislative and governmental issues,  information and referal sources on topics such as autism,  Down Syndrome and learning disabilities,  along with volunteer and employment opportunities 

The Hospice of the Florida SunCoast. Serves the terminally ill and their families. Site includes contact information, links to the Hospice library and information caregivers.

Seminole Chamber of Commerce.  Web site of the Greater Seminole Chamber of Commerce which has information of about upcoming events, chamber news and a  guide to business in the Greater Seminole area. 

Saint Petersburg- Clearwater Convention and Visitors's Bureau. 

League of Women voters of Saint Petersburg Area  and League of Women Voters of North Pinellas County 

The Beach Directory.  A well organized and frequently update resource for vacation and tourist related information on the Gulf Beaches.  Information is available for the beaches as a whole and for the individual beach communities. Coverage includes accommodations, restaurants, attractions, real estate and time sharing, fishing (both commercial and non-commercial sites listed, and a local business yellow pages. There's a link to a similar page covering the Keys. 

Dog Training Club of Saint Petersburg.  Besides information about the club (in existence for more than 40 years) there are also links to other dog related sites such as American Kennel Club or the United Kennel Club. 

Tampa Bay Computer Society. Founded in 1984 the TBCS is the largest PC users group in Florida. In Clearwater 

Tampa PC Users Group. Site includes a directory of useful web links covering a variety of subjects.
