ConsumerSearch "Reviewing the Reviews." This service selects and summarizes consumer product reviews both online and in print for a large variety of products. U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission
Classified2000. The largest collection of web based classified advertising.  Includes products, job oportunities, real estate, apartments, business opportunities and personals.
Consumer Alerts. From the Florida State Comptroller's Office. Information on financial related consumer issues (investing, mortgage, debt services, etc) 
Consumers Resource Handbook. A 144 page publication of the  U.S. Consumer Information Center which gives tips and advices in such areas as car repair, home repair, credit and consumer frauds.
DoItYourself.com.  A collection of frequently asked questions (with answers), tips, tricks and tutorials on subjects ranging from appliance care to woodworking. 
Fight Fraud in Florida.  Task force of more than twenty state agencies devoted to combating frauds and scams, with reports of  current investigations, links to agency web sites, online reporting forms and contact information.

Philanthropic Information

These organizations offer information about charitable organizations, provide guidelines for giving and set criteria for rating charities.
Give.org. New directory formed by the merger of the National Charities Information Bureau and the BBB's Philanthropic Advisory Service.
Philanthropic Advisory Service of the Better Business Bureau.  The PAS site includes reports on specific charities, which may include legal or other actions taken against them. 
American Institute for Philanthropy.   "The American Institute of Philanthropy (AIP) is a  nationally prominent charity watchdog service whose purpose is to help donors make informed giving decisions. This web site will provide you with information about our organization, the charities we rate, and our method of grading charities. GuideStar The Donor's Guide to the Charitable Universe. Searchable database of over 600,000 charitable organizations. Entries provide basic facts about the charity including mission statement and financial data.
