Membership

The Tampa Bay Medical Library Network is composed of representatives from health libraries. The purpose is to foster cooperation among member institutions for the delivery of effective library services and promotion of professional development. Meetings are scheduled at least three times a year at rotating locations. Continuing education programs are held yearly.

Member institutions of the Tampa Bay Medical Library Network [TABAMLN] will be obliged to:

  • Send a representative to a minimum of two meetings per calendar year.

  • Provide reciprocal interlibrary loans to other TABAMLN members. Articles may not be requested for non-member staff and copyright law requirements must be observed.

  • Participate in and meet the requirements of the NLM database DOCLINE or other comparable document delivery system.

  • Pay yearly fees as determined by the TABAMLN membership.
