Tarpon Springs Library Advisory Board Tarpon Springs Public Library

The Tarpon Springs Library Advisory Board is appointed by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Tarpon Springs. Its mission is to work as an advocate for the library with the City Commission and as a liaison with the community.

Specifically, the Tarpon Springs Library Advisory Board shall:

• strive to maintain and improve the quality of library service
• strive to know the needs of the community
• strive to secure adequate funds for the library's programs
• support the American Library Association's standards for library service
