Current Offers

Games on Demand

Games on Demand is a web-based service offering games to children. Games on Demand is the software company behind the popular Yahoo Games! Last year, Pasco County Libraries began working to implement this product at each of their libraries. In January, Pasco began using this product, and it has been quite successful.

Games on Demand offers a kid package that is primarily focused on kid games. A list of titles is available at their website - http://gamesoduser.comcast.net/gamesondemand/kids.html. Games include: Putt-Putt, Clifford, Tonka, Freddi Fish, I SPY, Hangman, and Reader Rabbit to name a few. In addition, Games on Demand adds new games monthly.

TBLC is working on brokering a deal with area libraries. However, the company will not negotiate pricing or discuss implementation changes until I have a very rough number of interested libraries.

Please let Diana Sachs (sachsd@tblc.org) know by April 10, 2006 if you are interested in Games on Demand or if you would like to know more about the product.
