Think Tank Session: Blogs and RSS Feeds
OK I have a blog – what do I do with it?
This first think tank session of the Library 2.0 Challenge explores the world of Blogs and RSS feeds.
Blogging and RSS feeds are changing the face of the web, making it a more interactive environment - users become publishers by blogging, and they use RSS feeds to make choices about the content they want to see. The think tank session will take participants past the 'how do I create a blog' stage, and facilitated discussion will lead them to new ideas on how to use blogs and RSS feeds effectively in the library environment.
Participants are encouraged to bring examples of blogs and RSS feeds created for librarians and/or library users.
Blogging and RSS feeds enable libraries to interact with users in a new and exciting way. The Think Tank session will help libraries formulate plans on how to use this technology to create the biggest impact on their users.
